Am asteptat de mult interviul acesta !!:) Nu voi mai traduce din engleza, insa daca vreti sa il traduc, spuneti-mi printr-un comentariu:

1.I know that this is the question that every writer hates, but everyone always asks: How do you get inspired? From where do you get your ideeas?
I get ideas from a lot of places, but music really helps to inspire me.

2.What did you always want to be?How do you decided to be a writer? At what age do you decided you want to be a writer?

I've always wanted to be a writer! I started writing poetry in elementary school and had my first poem published in a magazine when I was 11. I wrote a lot of short stories when I was a teenager, then fell in love with journalism. I studied journalism in college and did some freelance writing, but a few years after I graduation from college, I realized how much I missed writing fiction. When I got the idea for Eternal Starling, I knew being an author was what I wanted to do.

3.How do you keep on staying motivated?I know that to write a book it`s a really hard work,so how could you continue this work?

I think I like to write for the same reason I like to read: I love escaping to another world for a while. It is hard work, but having great fans who like my books definitely keeps me motivated and makes me want to keep writing!

4.I know that Eternal starling is a great love story, so how do you decided you want to write fantasy? When did you begun to write this book?In what year did you begun and how long this book taked to be write?

I didn't really decide I wanted to write fantasy, I just wrote the story that came to me. It has a lot of fantasy elements, and it's really romance-driven. I also write other types of books too though. The genre isn't as important to me as having a good story that I'm excited to tell. I started writing Eternal Starling in June of 2008, revised it for almost 2 years, and it was picked up for publication in January of 2011.

5.Eternal starling have extraordinary characters.Where do you start a book, with plot, characters or dialogue?

It depends on the book, but the characters are usually the most important thing to me. I have to like the characters a lot since I'll be spending at least a year with them, and more time than that if the book is part of a series.

6.Where do you write?Do you write with music, or do you have something that help you to have imagination?

I usually write in my living room on my couch. I like to write late at night. Since everyone is asleep, I can concentrate on writing without any distractions (like my dog walking across the keyboard.) :)

7.How was your life 13 years?Did you kept a diary? It was a special notebook or just an ordinary notebook? You decorated it, or you have draws in it? How was the cover?

13 was a fun year because I was finally a teenager, but it was hard because I was trying to figure out who I was, what I wanted, and how to become that person. I did keep a diary! I didn't decorate it though. I wrote a lot of poetry and stories to help me deal with what I was feeling.
8.I know that my rumainian teacher always tell me that in every story is an essence or kernel of true.Is she right?

I'm not sure how it is for other authors, but for me, yes. I see little things from my own life in every story I write.

9.What books did you read at my age, or between 12-18 years? What was your favorite?

I loved the Baby-Sitters Club, Sweet Valley Twins, and every RL Stine book I could get my hands on.

10.Do you like your new writer life?Is it beautiful, or how much did your life changed from the moment you published Eternal starling?

Yes! I love being an author! Things haven't really changed much for me. However, I've really enjoyed all of the great new people I've met because of my book!

11.What advice do you have for teen writers?

Read, read, read! You can learn so much from other authors. For example: the difference in an author’s voice; how books are plotted and paced; different character traits; details that make your story more relatable and make the book fun to read. As you’re reading, keep writing, because the more you write, the more you'll improve your writing skills.

12.When is your birthday? And how old are you?

My birthday is in April and I'm 31. :)

13.What is your favorite quote?

This is the quote that helped inspire Eternal Starling and it's one of my favorites: "Love is the emblem of eternity. It confounds all notion of time, effaces all memory of a beginning, all fear of an end." -Madame de Stael

Thank you very much, you are incredible! What message do you have for your fans from Romania?

Thank you so much for all of your support and for wanting to read Eternal Starling!
